Why does claiming cost money?
Earn grants the right to claim an Egg. Creating the NFT on the blockchain still requires funds, supplied by the claiming player.
Where does the payment go?
Depending on the action, the payment covers the Egg price, execution and message fees, required contract reserves and distributable surplus.
Sale revenue and distributable surplus are split equally between the prize pool and the protocol. Technical fees and reserves are separate from this split.
Check before confirming
Amounts depend on the operation and active tournament. Review the payment in the app and wallet rather than relying on a fixed example from an old guide.
Closing your wallet does not prove a transaction failed. Check its activity before sending the same payment again.
